GOAL:
Is it possible to setup the Web Service Adapter (WSA) with IIS only or do you always have to have a JSE (ex Tomcat) involved?
GOAL:
Is it possible to setup the WSA with IIS without the use of a JSE ?
FACT(s) (Environment):
OpenEdge 10.x
All Supported Operating Systems
FIX:
It is not possible to use the WSA without a JSE since the WSA is a Java servlet. The point of having IIS or any other Web Server involved is to be able to service your Web Service clients at an enterprise level. A JSE can function as a Web Server, but it's not recommended in a production environment since that's not its primary function.
