Getting error 9088 on Windows 64-bit with OE 1.2A01 64-bit
The proxml.dll or libproxml.so was missing or incomplete or XML could not be initialized. (9088)
Cannot create widget of type X-DOCUMENT. (3181)
FACT(s) (Environment):
GUI client is used to spawn the ABL session
Windows Server 2003 64-bit
OpenEdge 10.2A 64-bit
CAUSE:
GUI client (prowin32.exe) on OE 64-bit is running 32-bit version of the executable as GUI client is not yet supported for 64-bit development and deployment. Therefore is not able to link 64-bit DLL.
FIX:
Use Character client instead with supports 64-bit development and deployment
