SYMPTOM(s):
Oracle DataServer application crashes when updating record
Crash occurs on RELEASE statement
Application program crashes at prow32.dll when local DataServer has a self-service connection to Oracle client
_oraserv process on server crashes when application has a client-server connection to remote DataServer
Problem is only seen in one table in one instance of one customer database
FACT(s) (Environment):
A similar (but not identical) version of the application connected to a database and DataServer with the same structure but a different owner and different data does not crash
Updates to other tables are successful
Creating new records in the same table is successful
Solaris SPARC 2.8 64-bit (server)
