SYMPTOM(s):
Modified settings of database startups thru Progress Explorer but database doesn't seem to pick up the changes after restart by AdminServer.
User has rights to modify conmgr.properties file.
Values entered through Progress Explorer are visible and correct in conmgr.properties file.
otherserverargs parameter in Progress Explorer has been configured with many database startup parameters

CAUSE:
otherserverargs parameter was used in addition to normal fill in field values through Progress Explorer.
FIX:
The otherserverargs fill in field is read last of all database parameters. Any entries in the otherserverargs field will override other values which differ in the settings configured for a database through the normal fill in fields in Progress Explorer.
