SYMPTOM(s):
Replication folders for source database do not appear in Progress Explorer
Database will not start via Progress Explorer
Access to database source not allowed. The database is enabled for site replication but either replication is not running, or this process is not authorized to open a replication enabled database. (10356)
Able to start the source database if using -DBService in the Other Arguments section of the defaultConfiguration properties
Using a port name instead of port number for the control agent causes the Fathom Replication folders to re-appear
FACT(s) (Environment):
All Supported Operating Systems
OpenEdge 10.2A
OpenEdge 10.1C03 Service Pack
CAUSE:
Bug# OE00183664
FIX:
No fix at this time.
As a workaround, either change the port definition to a number or use -DBService replserv in the Other Arguments section of the defaultConfiguration properties.
