Can not connect to database broker running on windows
The session hang without displaying errors
FACT(s) (Environment):
Connection made from a UNIX machine to a windows machine
The connection uses correct host name and port number
Windows
Progress 9.x
OpenEdge 10.x
CAUSE:
Windows firewall is turned on which blocks the broker to listen on the broker port
FIX:
Turn off Windows firewall
