4GL: Error (5483) generated by 4GL socket server application
Connection failure for host <host_name> port <port> transport <transport_name>. (9407)
Connection failure for service <service_name> host <host_name> transport <transport_name>. (5483)
Connection failure for host 10.10.12.7 port 2345 transport TCP. (9407)
Connection failure for service ServiceName host 10.10.12.7 transport TCP. (5483)
Errors occurs when two instances or more of a C++ socket client Application repeatedly connect to the 4GL socket server Application.
The C++ socket client Application repeatedly performs a Connect, Send, Receive and Disconnect actions.
Eventually one or both the above errors are generated by the 4GL socket server Application.
FACT(s) (Environment):
Problem does not occur under 9.1D09

CAUSE:
Either an unknown bug that was fixed in 9.1D09 or a defect in the 9.1D installation.
FIX:
Upgrade to Progress 9.1D09 or later.
