SYMPTOM(s):
R-code is not saved in Visual Designer when Build Automatically is turned off
When the Visual Designer has setting "Compile on save if required" activated, no r-code is created when saving a form.
R-code is created when switching to editor view (F9) and then save.
To have the Visual Designer compile on save, one must switch on "Build Automatically".

Upgrade to OpenEdge 10.2B or later
As a workaround turn on "Build Automatically" from the Projects menu.
