Installation of 10.1C on Windows 2008 fails with message "unable to make directory"
When installing OpenEdge 10.1C on a Windows 2008, as the setup launches, the program says, "The Setup Utility is checking the System Requirements, Please wait..." Then an error box appears which states "unable to make directory".
installing using a domain admin account

Domain admin account being used to do the install lacks the needed permissions
FIX:
Use the Local Administrator account.
