Database restored on a new machine using the same structure and platform
After image files rolled forward up to the busy ai file at the time of the crash
Database starts via script that also starts a background 4GL process
Background process crashes
Attempted same process with rolling forward through the ai busy with the same results
FACT(s) (Environment):
Background process has not changed
Database starts each time without any issue except the background process crashes

CHANGE:
The database is restored, on a different machine of the same platform, and then rolling forward all after image files on the restored database to bring it up to date
CAUSE:
The exact cause is unknown at the time of this writing
FIX:
Stop the database and truncate the bi file to allow the database to start without crashing the background process.
