SYMPTOM(s):
A proadsv -start fails to start an Admin Server.
A proadsv -start command generates a default configuration error.
error getting default configuration: com.progress.common.property.propertymanager. Could not be cast to java.rmi.server.remoteobject [admmsg028]
Running a java -version command lists a version of java that is not from Sun Microsystems.

CAUSE:
The version of java installed on the system is not from Sun Microsystems, which is documented as a requirement in the OpenEdge Product Availability Guide.
FIX:
