SYMPTOM(s):
Corrupted foreign PROMSGS errors are displayed
Errors are displayed correctly the first time they are displayed, but if they are displayed again they are corrupted and truncated.
For example the first time the error 5425 is displayed with Dutch PROMSGS the error is:
Onjuiste Handle waarde gegeven aan DELETE OBJECT of DELETE PROCEDURE statement. (5425)
The second time the error is displayed results in:
Onjuiste Han?®ç
FACT(s) (Environment):
The error message being displayed is longer than 81 bytes.
This only happens when non English PROMSGS files are used.
This only happens when -cpinternal is set to different codepage than used in the PROMSGS file

CAUSE:
Bug# OE00181377
FIX:
Upgrade to OpenEdge 10.1C04 or later
Upgrade to OpenEdge 10.2A01 or later
Workaround:
Use the American or English promsgs (prolang/ame/promsgs.ame or prolang/eng/promsgs.eng) instead of the foreign PROMSGS file.
