odbc.ini search order using Intersolv driver manager on Unix

The Intersolv driver manager on Unix will search for the ODBC INI file
in the following order:
$ODBCINI
$ODBC_INI
$ODBCHOME/.odbc.ini
$HOME/.odbc.ini
[homedir]/.odbc.ini, where [homedir] is obtained from the current
user's password entry.
