SYMPTOM(s):
Attempting to start the AdminServer: it starts and quickly dies
No admserv.log file created
AdminServer process starts and then dies.
Kill -8 on process produced java core file
Same problem on AIX 5.207
Upgrade of AIX 5.207 to 5.209 failed.
AdminServer still fails to start with new 10.1C install and pristine property files
java/lang/OutOfMemoryError from strings of java core file
Java 1.5 was installed via a distribution package
FACT(s) (Environment):
Upgraded the problem box to 5.304
AdminServer does work on a different 5.209 AIX box with 10.1C installed
Progress 9.1D AdminServer works on all boxes/AIX OS versions listed

CAUSE:
The distribution package for Java 1.5 somehow corrupted the java install
FIX:
Install the java5 SDK directly instead of using the distribution package
