SYMPTOM(s):
Databases do not register with the AdminServer.
Database takes too long to start.
Time out limit (<max_wait> seconds) exceeded waiting for ACK. (9149)
Error registering with AdminServer. (8845)
Databases show up as an inactive resource at the OpenEdge Management console.
FACT(s) (Environment):
Databases are monitored remotely using OpenEdge Management with fmconfig.
Databases are started using the dbman command.

CAUSE:
OpenEdge Management remote monitoring component at the remote host has corrupt configuration files.
FIX:
Reconstruct the remote monitoring component files by using the commands:
fmconfig -disable
Stop the AdminServer
fmconfig -host <your OpenEdge management host> -enable
Restart the AdminServer
