SYMPTOM(s):
Errors 8234 and 10926 when the OpenEdge Web Service ESB Adapter tries to make a connection to the AppServer
Error in SOAP request execution: Connect Failure: Application Service <Application Service> Unknown at NameServer at Host <Host> Port <Port>. (8234) (10926)
FACT(s) (Environment):
The error appears in the Sonic Container log file
The generated WSM file contains all the correct AppServer settings
The correct AppServer settings have been entered when generating the Web Service ESB proxy in the Proxy Generator
The AppServer is up and running fine
OpenEdge 10.1x
All Supported Operating Systems
CAUSE:
Bug# OE00180436
CAUSE:
The Web Service ESB adapter is not picking up the AppServer settings from the WSM file.
FIX:
As a workaround you can manually configure the AppServer settings in the Sonic Management Console:
Configure tab -> ESB Configured Objects -> Services -> OpenEdge Web Services -> [Your adapter instance] -> Init Parameters
After the changes, a reload is required of the MF Container which is hosting the ESB Container for the OpenEdge Web Service adapter.
