_SQLSRV2 process consuming high amount of CPU and disk utilization.
Database connections are slow.
Disk activity also increases dramatically during this time frame.
Problem comes and goes without making any changes to the system.
FACT(s) (Environment):
IBM AIX 5.3
OpenEdge 10.1x
CAUSE:
Application code had a problem where it would go into a tight loop and tie up disk and CPU.
FIX:
