Status: Verified
FACT(s) (Environment):
Apptivity
SYMPTOM(s):
Selecting "Open in HTML Editor" from inside the IDE
Existing HTML Project running.
Working on multiple HTTP projects.
Browser error: 404 Not Found
No relevant information in the HttpServer.log
CAUSE:
Each time you launch your external HTML Editor from inside Apptivity (using the "Open in HTML Editor" menu-item), Apptivity Developer looses track of whether the servlet runner is running. When you change projects and try to run a different servlet, the second servlet runner can't start because the PORT is already occupied. Everything looks like it is working but the "old" servlet runner can't find the new servlet.
FIX:
Using Task Manager, look for a copy of java.exe running. Kill it.
