It is not possible to upgrade the license information for a Windows NT WebSpeed install. The supported method is to uninstall WebSpeed, then reinstall with the new serial number and control codes. Alternatively, install WebSpeed on another NT server with the new control codes, and copy the progress.cfg file onto the existing installation. Do not try to install in a separate directory on the same machine, as the install also writes to the registry, and will affect your previous install.
UNIX:
The recommended procedure for UNIX is to install WebSpeed with the new control codes in a separate directory. Once you have completed this, copy the progress.cfg file into the existing WebSpeed installation. Although there is a proupdt script in the WebSpeed install utility, the use of this tool is not supported with WebSpeed 2.1
