Unable to connect to remote Oracle instance When User is Non-Admin User for Windows
Unable to load shared library
FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows
Oracle DataServer
User is logged in as non-admin user for the windows machine
Admin user can connect and load shared library without problem
CAUSE:
The exact cause is unknown at the time of this writing
FIX:
Set following environment variables in both user environment and system environment for the windows machine
ORACLE_HOME pointing to Oracle installation and ORADLLNAME pointing to $ORACLE_HOME/bin/oci.dll
