Getting errors 13313 and 13339 when trying to use procopy to copy a database on HPUX while using Vintela Authentication Services (VAS).
Getting errors 13313 and 13339 when trying to use prodel to delete a database on HPUX while using Vintela Authentication Services (VAS).

CAUSE:
Procopy, prostrct, prodel, _dbutil, and _proutil as well as many other Progress executables perform certain system checks to validate the user attempting to use the tool has the authority to use the tool.
The validation method will attempt to validate the user account is listed in the /etc/passwd file and possibly /etc/shadow or is authenticated by NIS.
FIX:
Use of authentication systems such as Vintela Authentication System are not currently supported.
