CAUSE:
Bug# OE00164234
FIX:
Upgrade to 10.1C01 or later.
This is a problem only for 64-bit versions of Progress / OpenEdge database server and has existed from 9.1E to 10.1C but is fixed in 10.1C01 or later.
If upgrade is not possible the following workarounds are known:
1) Use a 32-bit version of Progress / OpenEdge database server.
2) Use self service client connections to the database.
3) The behavior is linked to the size of the query. If possible, remodel the query to reduce the total number of characters used by the query.
