Using Windows to Convert database to FastTrack database
To use Microsoft Windows to convert a database to a FastTrack
database, first create an icon. Follow these steps in the Program
Manager to create an icon:
1> Choose File-->New. The Program Manager displays the New Program
Object window.
2> Choose the Okay button. The Program Manager displays the Program
Item Properties Window.
3> On the Description line, type the label you want for your icon.
4> On the Command Line, type the full pathname for your Proutil.PIF
file. Also include the full pathname of your database, if it is
located in a different directory than your Proutil.PIF file.
5> As shown in the following example, after the pathnames,
type: -C convft
c: \dlc\proutil.pif d:\user\dbname -C convft
6> On the Working Directory line, you can type your working directory
path and name. This step is optional.
7> Choose the OK button. You can now use the icon.
