GOAL:
Dynamic queries can compile on-the-fly code
GOAL:
Why am I getting different results on Progress Small client then on the full client
GOAL:
Why am I getting different results on WebClient then on the full client
GOAL:
Dynamic queries run compile on-the-fly but not on WebClient
GOAL:
Dynamic queries run compile on-the-fly but not on Progress Small client
FACT(s) (Environment):
All Supported Operating Systems
Progress 9.x
OpenEdge 10.x
FIX:
It is possible to use Dynamic queries to run compile on-the-fly (i.e. when code is run). However this requires that the Progress client in use has the ability to compile code. Two of the clients that this doesn't work with are the WebClient and Progress Small Client (as built in from Probuild) which only have run-time licenses.
