SYMPTOM(s):
Receiving interpreter errors when running proinventory command.
interpreter "usr/lib/pa20_64/dld.sl" not found
exec(2): could not load a.out
/usr/lib/pa20_64/dld.sl library does exist on the system
Output of a sum command of the _proinventory executable is consistent with the value of a sum of the executable placed on ftp site.
An ldd command against the _proinventory executable fails stating not a shared executable
tar -tvf not listing all files.
FACT(s) (Environment):
LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable is set correctly
HP-UX
PA-RISC 64-bit
OpenEdge 10.x
CAUSE:
Corrupted / Incomplete tar file. Was missing 2 files.
FIX:
Redownload proinv13_hpux1164.tar again and validate all files are in tact by issuing a tar -tvf command.
Should see the following files listed:
