SYMPTOM(s):
Remote window clients recieve SYSTEM ERROR when creating a record
SYSTEM ERROR: bffld: nxtfld: scan past last field. (16)
Remote windows clients use -cache startup parameter
Local unix clients do not recieve error
Local unix clients can create records
Local unix clients do not use -cache startup parameter
CHANGE:
Schema update was recently made against Progress database
CAUSE:
Remote Windows clients did not receive the updated schema cache file.
FIX:
Regenerated the binary cache file and distribute the new file to all client using the -cache parameter.
