TranMan - automatic translation of new procedures.
Often through the normal usage of TranMan, users build up a
substantial glossary of translated words. Such being the case,
users often wonder how they might be able to have TranMan do
automatic translation of these words when new procedures are
introduced for translation. The following is a description of how to
accomplisg such a task.
First you will need to run the PreTranslation utility. From the main
menu select: Tools->TranMan Utilities->PreTranslation.
Secondly, you will need to identify the new procedures (use the Scan
feature), extract and load your strings.
Then, when you run the PreTranslation utility each untranslated
string will be examined and an attempt will be made to match it with
an existing translation. This attempt is made by looking up the
string in the glossary. All current translations should be in the
glossary by default. A log is saved to disk that indicates special
conditions (such as when there was more than 1 translation for a
particular string).
