What process is responsible for writing to the bi file?
Servers are responsible for writing to the before-image (.bi) file.
Self-serving clients (local clients) have two parts: the client half
and the server half. The server portion of a local clients is
responsible for writing to the BI file.
The broker sometimes writes to the BI file because it periodically
flushes before-image and after-image buffers so they don't sit in
memory too long when there is little or no activity.
