Status: Verified
SYMPTOM(s):
FileDoesNotExist alert is fired when only FileAge rule is active
File not exists alert is fired even when the File Exist rule is not enabled
FileDoesNotExist: The file does not exist. (9707)
FACT(s) (Environment):
Fathom Management 2.1A
Fathom Management 3.0A
All Supported Operating Systems
FIX:
Expected behavior. Alert is turned on when a file based rule is created as the file needs to exist for the alert to work. If there are one or more rules defined on a file, you should in some way be notified that the rules can't properly be evaluated since the file doesn't exist.
