When running the proinst utility the character display is skewed and the whole screen appears like four long lines.
Running proinst gives a garbled screen
Screen does not format correctly with proinst
FACT(s) (Environment):
TERM is set for vt100
TERM is set for vt220
HP-UX 11.0 64-bit
Progress 9.1x
OpenEdge 10.x
CAUSE:
This problem usually occurs on terminals using vt100, vt220, but may also be present in other types as well.
FIX:
To resolve this problem use xterm.
TERM=xterm; export TERM
