Why won't my char Results reports convert using Converter?
There are two possibilities why your character Results reports
(RES00000#.p files) may not convert to gui-usable reports
(QUE00000#.p files).
1. If the database that you connect to to run the conversion tool
does not have the same name as the database which the reports were
originally created against in char Results, the reports will not be
converted. The .qc and .qd files will be converted to their .qc7 and
.qd7 equivalents, and furthermore, the newly-converted .qd7 file
may contain reference to the reports, but there will not be any
converted report files. This has to do with discrepencies based off
of the difference in name of the databases. Therefore, the DBs must
have the the same names for the reports to convert.
2. During the conversion of the .qd file, you must select the .qd
file to be converted as well as a path for the file output. Once
you have entered this information, if you do not hit the ADD button
before hitting 'OK', your .qd file and your reports will not be
converted. Instead, you may find that you are left with a public
.qd7 file that does not reference any of your reports.
