The Crystal Reports RDC is no longer shipped with Crystal Reports 2008. Business Objects has deprecated and removed this functionality from the product.
For COM based application development Business Objects recommends Crystal Reports XI Release 2. This includes the RDC and ActiveX Viewer, and is a free upgrade from Crystal Reports XI.
