SYMPTOM(s):
Cannot perform a silent installation on a Windows client
Silent installation of OpenEdge fails with error "Error1=[9-11-2008 09:50:01] This silent installation has been disallowed because the v2.0 .NET framework is not already installed"
FACT(s) (Environment):
Silent Installation works if there was another instance of OpenEdge/Progress previously installed on the client PC.

CAUSE:
The v2.0 .NET framework is not already installed in the client machine
FIX:
Always make sure that the v2.0 .NET framework is installed on the client machine before proceeding with the silent installation
