Progress explorer does not show any brokers or NameServer despite the folders are shown for each components
The following message id displayed when trying add a new broker:
Failed to add service: <broker name>
FACT(s) (Environment):
All Supported Operating Systems
Progress 9.x
OpenEdge 10.x
CAUSE:
The ubroker.properties file is currupted
FIX:
Stop the adminserver and replace the ubropker.properties file.
- For 9.x, copy the ubroker.properties file and rename it to ubroker.properties file
- For 10.x, follow the solution P113581 to create a new ubroker.properties file
Start the admin server and launch Progress Explorer.
