Error (290) when application files are on a samba drive.
Users are occasionally failing with error 290 in random places.
SYSTEM ERROR: I/O error 22 in readit, ret -1, file 8, addr 0. (290)
FACT(s) (Environment):
Samba drive is being used to hold the application code and pf files

Progress/OpenEdge Versions
CAUSE:
The samba share has been reset while people were using the system. Users who were connected have subsequently been disconnected.
FIX:
New connections work fine so there is nothing that needs to be done to the users.
Schedule any re-starting of samba to be done after hours.
