Unable to connect a remote server - receiving error 704 on the client
** There is no server active for database <database> on -H <hostname> -S <servicename>. (704)
no error on the database log file
telnet hostname service name fails
FACT(s) (Environment):
ping hostname works
telnet hostname service port works
XP Firewall is turned off
-S servicename not begins with numbers

CAUSE:
Used incorrect service name in -S parameter
FIX:
Use correct service name or use the port number instead.
