FACT(s) (Environment):

Progress/OpenEdge Versions
CAUSE:
The installed Progress products contain a Personal Database product but do not include a Workgroup or Enterprise Database product.
A Personal Database product only allows up to 5 connections from the local machine and no connections from remote machines.
FIX:
Install a Workgroup or Enterprise Database product if you wish to have more than 5 connections to the database.
If you do not have a Workgroup or Enterprise Database product, please contact your Progress sales representative.
