SYMPTOM(s):
The OpenEdge installation no longer gives you the option to choose 4GL, SQL or BOTH for server type.
OpenEdge installation is missing the 4GL server option.
FACT(s) (Environment):
All Supported Operating Systems
OpenEdge 10.1B
CAUSE:
This is expected behavior because starting in 10.1B, the installation program will install the 4GL server by default. You are now prompted whether you want to add SQL server support or not. There is no longer the option to choose 4GL, SQL or BOTH.
FIX:
1. If you want to install 4GL server only you do not have to choose anything, the installation defaults to this.
2. If you want to add the SQL server option, select this option when prompted during the installation.
