SYMPTOM(s):
WebSpeed broker, name server and admin server all disappear intermittently since switching the server to a newly built virtual machine
All Java processes on the Linux server disappear
Errors 6401, 6402 and 6386 in server log file
WTA: npp_poll() failed with a drastic error status: . (6401)
WTA: WebSendMessage() Could not connect to WTB: npp_connect() failed with error: . (6402)
WTA: WebGetEvent() failed, exiting! (6386)
Errors in system log file in /var/log/messages directory
ibm8840 kernel: Out of Memory: Killed process 9972 (java).
The above error repeats for all java processes that were running on the system
FACT(s) (Environment):
No errors in the broker or name server log file

CAUSE:
When the new virtual machine was built, it was not built with sufficient memory to support all java processes, therefore the system killed all the java processes when running out of memory
FIX:
Add more memory to the virtual machine
