HTTP ERROR trying to edit or delete Area Space Utilization High rule using Management Console if a monitored database extent was removed
Management Console displays error:
HTTP ERROR: 500 0 >= 0
RequestURI=/database/rules/dbarearule.jsp
Some variances of the same error are:
HTTP ERROR: 500 24 >= 24
RequestURI=/database/rules/dbarearule.jsp
HTTP ERROR: 500 20 >= 20
RequestURI=/database/rules/dbarearule.jsp
FACT(s) (Environment):
Database being monitored in managed mode
Using Area Space Utilization High rule from Monitoring plans option
All Supported Operating Systems
Fathom Management
CAUSE:
One or more database extents being monitored has been removed
FIX:
Delete and recreate database resource being monitored from Management Console.
Note that this will cause the configurated option for database startup from Progress Explorer and Monitored options from Management console to be removed, so make sure that you save a copy of the conmgr.properties and save a xml file with rule sets being used.
