SYMPTOM(s):
Clients are receiving error 1154 when connecting to an MS SQL Server database.
No servers are available. Try again later. (1154)
1154 error occurs after the 5th person attempts to connect to the database.
Schema Holder database is being started via ProControl
Database log file for schema holder database shows -n 5
ProControl entry for the schema holder database does not show -n as being set.
Attempts to start the database with a -n greater than 5 does not change the behavior.
The progress.cfg file confirms that the user has a 5 user license.
CAUSE:
Trying to have more users connected to the schema holder than the MS SQL DataServer product is licensed for.
FIX:
1. Connect only the number of users that are licensed for this product.
2. Contact Sales Representative to add additional users to existing MS SQL DataServer license.
