SYMPTOM(s):
OS-COPY to a network printer slow
OS-COPY takes a long time to copy file to network printer
Using OS-COMMAND with copy or lp is instantaneous
Poor performance copying a file to a printer using OS-COPY
Using OUTPUT TO PRINTER is instantaneous
Using IP address of network printer is significantly better
CAUSE:
This is a known issue
FIX:
To workaround this issue use either use the IP address of the printer or use OS-COMMAND with the native copy command to copy the file.
