Lock release causes other users waiting for lock to disconnect
STOP condition is raised in client waiting for lock
Client terminates abnormally when lock is granted
Clients connected remotely to server (-H -S)
Clients running OpenEdge 10.1A or earlier
Server running OpenEdge 10.1B or later
CAUSE:
This is a known issue.
When a pre-10.1B client is waiting for a lock with a post-10.1B server, the server processes the lock request incorrectly and sends an error code back to the client when the lock is granted. This causes a STOP condition in the client.
FIX:
As a workaround, upgrade the clients to OpenEdge 10.1B or later.
