No messages indicating a crash exist in the admserv.log file
No ads0.exp file created
Clients can continue accessing applications
WebSpeed broker continues to run
NameServer continues to run
AppServer continues to run
Unable to stop the Ubrokers
Unable to query the Ubrokers
Adding NOHUP to the script calling proadsv -start does not solve the problem.
Attaching STRACE to the AdminServer process throws an error to the screen
Error message from STRACE:
PANIC: attached pid 9867 exited
Process 9867 detached
you have mail in /var/spool/mail/root
CAUSE:
The panic indicates that the server is running out a resource such as physical memory. Check the /var/logs/messages file for more information.
FIX:
Reduce number of process consuming physical memory or increase physical memory on the server.
