Error JUNMsg030 and JUNMsg026 on auxillary processes when starting database with Progress Explorer
Error in database startup. (JUNMsg030)
Error in startup of asynchronous page writer process for database <name> Message: Timed out (JUNMsg026)
Progress Explorer 'status' for the Auxillary processes does not show the correct values
dbman -q does not show correct value for running pagewriters:
APW: Running: 25, Starting: 25
more than 25 APW's started for database
setting -DBypassDatabaseTiming=true in the jvmargs of AdminServerPlugins.properties has no effect
promon option 5 confirms all configured pagewriters are started
database lg file confirms all configured pagewriters are started
admserv.log file confirms all configured pagewriters are started
CAUSE:
This is a know issue
FIX:
The timing values reported are effectively 'in error' and an annoyance. This feature does not affect the correct number of auxillary processes from starting, nor any other adverse affects such as other databases not starting under the AdminServer.
