Printing garbled characters after upgrading Progress/OpenEdge release
HP 5000n printer, printing over the network using standard ABL Syntax
Worked fine before upgrading
Same printer and same machine as before the upgrade
Using default -cpstream conforming to correct code page
CAUSE:
Control codes were being output to printer and startup command was not modified to use -wa -wpp parameters to enable passthrough printing
FIX:
Add -wa and -wpp parameters to prowin32.exe startup command
