FIX:

A solution can be contributed to Technical Support by going to the Progress Web site at www.progress.com and selecting Support -> OpenEdge -> Share your solutions -> Select the Share your Knowledge tab on this window. Once on this page, the submitter will be requested for information regarding company, submitters name, e-mail address, product being used and the issue that the solution will address as well as the proposed fix. Once this page is submitted, a work request will be opened with Technical Support.

The submitter will receive an acknowledgement and the Work Request Number associated with the submittal. The solution will be assigned to a Technical Support resource to review and validate the submission or request additional clarification from the submitter. The Technical Support Engineer will then create a solution with the information provided based on internal solution creation guidelines. Once the solution has been created, the Technical Support Engineer will notify the submitter of the solution number for future reference.
