Status: Unverified
FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows
Progress/OpenEdge Versions
SYMPTOM(s):
Installed Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000
None of the function keys implement their default behavior when running Progress
CAUSE:
The Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 by default remaps the function keys on the keyboard to implement things like undo, etc.
FIX:
The Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 has an FLOCK key which by default is turned off. When this key is turned off the function keys are remapped by the keyboard driver to behaviors specific to the keyboard. Turn the FLOCK key on to restore normal function key behavior.
