SYMPTOM(s):
Using command line ftp to access the Progress ESD site.
Access issue when entering your password via the ftp command line.
Blinking cursor remains in one place as you type in the password.
CAUSE:
This is expected behavior.
FIX:
Type in the password and hit enter. The cursor will not move and all you will see is a blinking cursor as you type in the password.
