Error 13766 connecting to state-reset Appserver
The ASK major version in the CONNECT request is invalid (com.progress.ubroker.util.ubMsg$InvalidMsgVersionException: MsgFormat). AppServer Keepalive protocol is disabled for this connection. (13766)
Happens only with remote connection
Does not happen with stateless Appserver
Windows firewall is turned on.
FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows XP
OpenEdge 10.1C
CAUSE:
This happens when the firewall doesn't have the ports for the agents opened.
Only for the broker.
FIX:
The XP Firewall, however, does not support configuring a port range, rather than a single port for each entry. If you have a small port range, you may define a single entry for each port.
Or use a different firewall.
